Visual Learner Optimized: Grizzly 400/450 + Active Aqua 1/4HP

After buying the Grizzly 400 and using ice in it for almost a year, I've finally started my chiller build (thanks to the help of a couple key threads on this board from @wintermute and @Ecupirate ) and the DIY Cold Plunge FB group.

I'm a visual learner (and engineer), so I really appreciate a well-planned… plan. So, I'm keeping track of my entire build using a digital whiteboard. You can view it here for free:

My estimated build date is 7/15/24. I plan to update the whiteboard with a step-by-step guide (pics but possibly video too) and will update this thread with any relevant pics as well. For now, here are some pics of us using the Grizzly so far…

Very eager to see the progress. Please keep us updated. Doing my own 450 build as soon as it arrives. Two questions - why not use ozone to sanitize? If you were to use ozone, what bulkhead/where would you drill a hole for the ozone tube?

I plan on using two (2) of the torrent twist drain plugs from grizzly so I limit the amount of drilling to the cooler - thinking I may not use ozone and instead opt for your sanitation route so there are no holes anywhere. Welcome your thoughts!
