Hello fellow cold plungers!
First, thanks to you all for sharing what you learned! I really liked what Joe (polarB) had done with his version 2 design with having as much as possible inside the cooler (submersible DC pump and filter housing). I spent a lot of time sitting in my empty cooler trying to decide where to place everything including my inlet and outlet bulkheads. I am 6’3” and 220 lbs so I really wanted to have everything out of the way as much as possible. I have my system sitting in my garage but I still really wanted to minimize leak risks! I have my chiller sitting in a plastic tray with a garden hose bulkhead drain attached to it. I will add more pictures and products soon.
